Errata Change Log

At the request of several players, I am putting together a change log for all the erratas. I cannot guarantee that I will have caught every change on a card, but I've done my best. If you see something I missed, feel free to PM me and I will fix it.

After each card, I have listed both what the change was, and why the change was made. As I am not on Design or Development, many of the "why" have been left blank- I only listed the ones that were obvious to me. If Sonn or Schele wants to and has the time, I will be happy to update the Reason on each card.

I will be keeping this post locked- not to prevent discussion, but to prevent confusion and keep the list clean. By all means, feel free to start an "Errata Change Log Discussion" thread, as long as it doesn't duplicate stuff from another thread.

The following cards are no longer virtualized, but their functionality has been moved to a different card:

The following cards have had their functionality moved to a different card, and have a new virtual version in V-18:

•Leia, Rebel Princess
Changes: Destiny reduced from 3 to 1, “Present” in game text changed to “here”
Reason:

•Let’s Go Left v
Changes: Not a true errata. Replaced the blanked •Capital Support v, provides a mirror for •Nothing Can Get Through Our Shields.
Reason: Capital Support was blanked due to its prevention of one of the three paths of removal (granting full immunity to attrition). Changed from •Capital Support to this card so both would be (EP 1) Admiral’s Orders

•Chewie v
Changes: Removed (Pilot 4) on the Falcon.
Reason: Design guidelines violation: No character should add more than 3 to power.

•Chewbacca of Kashyyyk v
Changes: Reduced power from 7 to 6. Removed additional destiny to power when 8 cards are in hand.
Reason:

Clone Trooper
Changes: Heroic is now conditional. Lowered Palpatine’s immunity to <6 rather than full immunity. Ability reduced to 1.
Reason: Heroic non-uniques proved overpowered. No longer fully prevents one of the three paths of removal. Ability 2 non-uniques were problematic.

•Han v
Changes: Removed (Pilot 4) on the Falcon. Removed “weapon destinies are +2”
Reason: Design guidelines violation: No character should add more than 3 to power.

•Han Solo v
Changes: Removed (Pilot 4) on the Falcon.
Reason: Design guidelines violation: No character should add more than 3 to power.

•IL-19
Changes: Removed spy-like text. Added Spy skill.
Reason: Cards that act like spies should always be spies.

•Mace Windu v
Changes: Removed “/\ Blaster Deflection.” Changed deploy to 7, rather than 8. Removed “deploy -2 to same site as a Jedi”
Reason: Prevented one of the three paths of removal.

•Senator Mon Mothma v
Changes: Added “except Endor”
Reason: Interaction with Strike Planning

•Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight v
Changes: Changed “use 1 force to cancel a just drawn duel, weapon or battle destiny” to “lose 1 force to cancel a just drawn duel or weapon destiny.” Removed “/\ Disarmed.”
Reason:

•Padmé Naberrie v
Changes: Damage moved from opponent’s control phase to your control phase. Must be present at a battleground site to cause damage. Increased deploy from 3 to 4.
Reasons: Non-battleground light side direct damage is bad, mmmkay.

•Sergeant Doallyn v
Changes: “May deploy a vibro-ax from under your Starting Effect” now “ Vibro-ax is a matching weapon and deploys for free”
Reasons: Removed all non-shield cards from under Starting Effect

•Son of Skywalker v
Changes: Complete overhaul of text.
Reason:

Wookiee v
Changes: Reduced ability to 1. Removed deploy modifier. Added “While with another Wookiee, draws one battle destiny if not able to otherwise.” Removed “During batte, if he fires a bowcaster, add one destiny to your total power.”
Reason:

•Yarua v
Changes: Added “Nudjs everywhere are lost.” Added “using their landspeed” to movement text.
Reason: Prevented non-battleground direct damage. Prevented unintended interaction with Nabrun Leids.

•Yoda v
Changes: Complete overhaul of text.
Reason:

•Yoda, Great Warrior v
Changes: Used to be •Yoda, Master of the Force v. Destiny reduced to 1.
Reason:

•Anger, Fear, Aggression v
Changes: Removed “except locations or non-Defensive Shield grabbers” clause. Added protection against Uncertain is the Future.
Reason: Clause no longer needed, as only shields will be under it. Protection added for Starting Interrupts that start with certain cards in hand.

•Dantooine Engineering Corps
Changes: New name. No Escape protection only applies while objective on table, and only to the Effect version, not the shield. Generation changed to “at Dantooine system” rather than “at Dantooine sites.”
Reason: Name changed to save text space (removed the need for “may not be canceled”.) Changed to not circumvent a Defensive Shield. Generation reduced to be within activation guidelines.

Eject! Eject! & Imperial Atrocity
Changes: New card- this is not an errata.
Reason: Punishment for maintenance cards.

•Grrrghrrrgh!
Changes: Added “During battle, may not add more than one destiny to total power.” Changed bonus when a Wookiee stacked to a static “armor=4 and immune to attrition < 3” rather than increasing bonuses for each card stacked.
Reason:

•Hidden Fortress
Changes: New name. Deploys on table and allows systems under it, rather than under Starting Effect.
Reason: Name changed to save text space (removed the need for “may not be canceled”.) Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

•Our Most Desperate Hour v
Changes: Complete overhaul of text.
Reason:

•Quick Draw v
Changes: Cannot deploy if Inner Strength on table. \/ of Sai’torr changed to Once Per Turn rather than Once Per Game. No longer increases destiny number of lightsabers or sends weapons used, now allows them to deploy from lost pile for 1 force loss.
Reason: Made a mirror of Gift of the Master

•Special Modifications v
Changes: Ships that remain on table after being lost are now forfeit=0. Changed to be immune to Alter.
Reason:

•Tauntaun Bones v
Changes: Now \/ creatures, rather than playing from under the Starting Effect and/or /\ them. Ferocity bonus reduced to +1. Added text about Secret Plans.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

•The Time For Our Attack Has Come v
Changes: Now \/ or deploys a ship from lost pile, rather than playing it from under the Starting Effect.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

•Uncharted Settlements
Changes: Cancels Revolution. Prevents deployment of Maintenance cards. Prevents cancellation of generation at Endor. Allows Leave Them to Me to circumvent additional deployment cost, but adds Maintenance cards to the list of cards affected. Prevents generation at Hidden Landing Site.
Reason:

•We’ll Take The Long Way
Changes: Used to be Secure Route v. Made unique. Taking a card into hand from lost pile is now retrieval.
Reason: All retrieval-like effects should be retrieval.

•Yarna d'al' Gargan
Changes: Limits protection from attacks to Jabba’s Palace sites.
Reason:

It Is the Future You See v
Changes: Starting location must now have < 3 LS icons.
Reason: Changed to fit activation guidelines.

•A Jedi’s Patience v
Changes: Used function activates only 2, not 3. Lost function works only with Skywalkers other than Shmi. Result of duel has changed- no longer excludes loser from battle, and grants winner immunity to attrition.
Reason:

Advance Preparation v
Changes: Complete overhaul of text
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

Away Put Your Weapons v
Changes: No longer allows weapons on table to be placed in Used Pile. Changed to retrieval.
Reason: All retrieval-like effects should be retrieval.

Careful Planning v
Changes: Added a recyclable used function. Now \/ only one additional location, not two.
Reason: Changed to fit activation guidelines

Corellian Retort v
Changes: Lost function now retrieval.
Reason: All retrieval-like effects should be retrieval.

Hear Me Baby, Hold Together v
Changes: Used to be I Don’t Need Their Scum, Either. No longer takes a grabber into hand from under Starting Effect. Cancels Cease Fire.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

Harvest v
Changes: Used function now /\ or retrieves a device.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

•Krayt Dragon Howl v
Changes: Used function activates only 1 force. Starting function completely overhauled.
Reason:

•Wookiee Strangle v
Changes: Now an Out of Play Interrupt. Target now does not add power but does not subtract destiny number.
Reason:

•Kashyyyk v
Changes: No longer \/ Grrgrrgrr! \/ only Kashyyyk sites. Can be converted.
Reason:

•Kashyyyk: Sacred Forest
Changes: Now \/ Yarna d’al’ Gargan, rather than providing its own Monnok protection. Makes Nudjs lost.
Reason:

<> Outpost
Changes: Cannot deploy to Hoth. Can deploy to Dantooine. Now \/ a non-Comlink device once per game. No longer adds to landspeed of Non-Jedi scouts. Immunity provided only to Effect version of No Escape.
Reason: Changed to not circumvent a Defensive Shield.

<> Rebel Cell: Hidden Landing Site
Changes: Immunity provided only to Effect version of No Escape. Now /\ Incom Corporation once per game.
Reason: Changed to not circumvent a Defensive Shield.

Local Uprising v/Liberation v
Changes: FRONT: Now must start virtual Main Power Generators. BACK: When flipped, Wedge may not cancel battle destinies at marker sites.
Reason:

Hidden Base v/Systems Will Slip Through Your Fingers v
Changes: FRONT: May only \/ a character once per game; that character must be ability <5, and must be \/ to Hidden Landing Site. BACK: Added “You lose no more than 1 Force to Force drains at opponent's locations.” Removed “Once per turn, if you just won a battle against an Imperial or Imperial starship, may /\ any one card.”
Reason:

•Booster in Pulsar Skate v
Changes: Can be targeted by weapons and Uttini Effects (except Lateral Damage)
Reason: Prevented one of the three paths of removal.

•Red 8 v
Changes: Used to be Blue Squadron 5 v. No longer deploys a weapon from under a Starting Effect. May now deploy as a react.
Reason: Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

Changes: Reduced from 8 power to 6. Deploy reduced from 8 to 6. No longer targets any Jedi with Circle. Prevents cancellation of duels by Jedi Escape and What Was It?. No longer gains Defense Value when armed.
Reason:

•Myn Kyneugh v
Changes: Force Pike now a matching weapon for him, rather than deploying from under a Starting Effect.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

•R2-A5 v
Changes: Used to be 3B3-10 v. Replaced part of 3B3-10’s functionality. Other text from 3B3-10 now on Probot (V-18).

Changes: Prevents Star Destroyers from having power reduced.
Reason: Improved functionality.

Changes: Removed “except locations or non-Defensive Shield grabbers” clause. Added protection against Recoil in Fear.
Reason: Clause no longer needed, as only shields will be under it. Protection added for Starting Interrupts that start with certain cards in hand.

Changes: Removes ‘selective’ trait from Womp Rats. Now \/ creatures, rather than playing from under the Starting Effect and/or /\ them. Ferocity bonus reduced to +1. Added text about Aim High.

Changes: No longer takes a grabber into hand from under Starting Effect.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

Combat Readiness v
Changes: Added a recyclable used function. Now \/ only one additional location, not two.
Reason: Changed to fit activation guidelines

Imperial Code Cylinder v
Changes: May now \/ Endor Shield & You Cannot Hide Forever
Reason:

•Levitation Attack v
Changes: Now \/ devices rather than deploying from under a Starting Effect. Added two new functions.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.

•Vader’s Anger v
Changes: Now a Lost Interrupt, rather than Out of Play. Changed to move phase only. Changed result of duel. No longer retrieves cards when Vader hits a Jedi.
Reason:

•Coruscant: Chancellor's Office
Changes: No longer prevents canceling of Force Drains or bonuses.
Reason:

<> Execution Arena (Pit)
Changes: Complete overhaul of text.
Reason:

•Ralltiir: Patrol Route
Changes: This card used to be Ralltiir: Imperial Supply Route. Complete overhaul of text.
Reason:

Imperial Occupation v/Imperial Control v
Changes: FRONT: Must deploy virtual Ice Plains. Walker Garrison is an Out of Play Interrupt and Immune to Sense for remainder of game. AT-ATs are deploy -1 only at marker sites. AT-ATs move for free at marker sites for remainder of game. You may deploy Colo Claw Fish. You may no longer /\ a Hoth AT-AT. Death Squadron must be on Hoth to flip. BACK: Taking cards into hand when AT-ATs are deployed is now retrieval. Flips if Death Squadron not on Hoth.
Reason:

Imperial-Class Star Destroyer
Changes: Deploys -2 to a minimum of 6. Only draws if not able to otherwise when not alone.
Reason: Star Destroyer deploy modifier.

•Jabba’s Space Cruiser v
Changes: Deploys and moves like a starfighter. Adds only 1 alien pilot. No longer deploys Independent ships from reserve deck, deployment is no longer free.
Reason:

•Onyx 2 v
Change: No longer deploys a weapon from under a Starting Effect. May now deploy as a react.
Reason: Changed so that non-Shields are not under Starting Effect.
